Called to the Outer Banks

Founded by Joy Ainsworth, a long-time caregiver and advocate for seniors, our Outer Banks office continues our mission of serving families with integrity and heartfelt dedication.

In 2022, Joy and her husband felt a new prompting from the Lord—this time directing them to relocate full-time to the Outer Banks. Their move was a step of obedience to be more present for their Outer Banks ministry to pastors and their families, as carried out through the Faithful Servants Foundation.

After settling into coastal life, Joy opened the first North Carolina branch of Faithful Servants Care in 2023, bringing the same heart-centered mission and quality of service to seniors and families throughout the Outer Banks.

Today, Joy and her husband are embracing—and thoroughly enjoying—the slower-paced, peaceful lifestyle the Outer Banks offers. They are fully incorporating into the community and consider it a blessing to live, serve, and minister in such a special place.
