Meet Karen Williams – Serving Charlotte with Heart & Purpose

Karen Williams is a licensed cosmetologist and emerging healthcare entrepreneur based in Charlotte, North Carolina. With more than three decades of experience in the beauty industry, Karen has built her career around a genuine passion for people—helping them look and feel their best both inside and out. Known for her warmth, attentive listening, and compassionate guidance, she has earned the trust of clients and colleagues for over 36 years.

Born and raised in Baltimore, Maryland, Karen has always been deeply rooted in her faith, her family, and a strong sense of empathy for others. Education has remained a significant pillar in her life. She began her academic journey at Morgan State University studying Business Administration and later completed a Master’s degree in Organizational Development at Montreat College in Charlotte, North Carolina.

After stepping away from college to support her family, Karen pursued cosmetology—already recognized for styling the hair of friends and relatives. Shortly after graduating from cosmetology school, she obtained her Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) with hopes of becoming a Registered Nurse. During her time working in a nursing home, Karen found herself caring for residents both medically and personally—including doing their hair—beautifully blending her gifts in caregiving and personal care.

That season of her life clarified her calling to serve seniors with compassion and dignity. Today, Karen is expanding that calling by transitioning fully into the healthcare field. With a special heart for seniors, she is launching a home healthcare business focused on compassionate, personalized support while also creating meaningful employment opportunities for others in the community.

Karen’s professional accomplishments and dedication to service are deeply rooted in her love for her family. Everything she builds is part of a legacy meant to inspire, uplift, and serve future generations.
